So you are on vacation in Playa del Carmen or in the Mayan Riviera. The skies are cloudy and it’s raining on and off. This happens sometimes, especially during the months of July through October which is considered “rainy season”. Look no further we have a fun rainy day activity in Playa del Carmen for you.
Most watersports, amusement parks and excursions are weather dependant and will be cancelled if it rains. So, unless you like to sit around and play bingo in the lobby bar, you are probably looking for a rainy day activity in Playa del Carmen…
If there only was an activity that’s fun and that you can still do in the rain…
Well, look no further! Our ATV adventures take place even on a rainy day and if you are not scared to get wet, this is the best option for you. If at all possible we think the quad excursions are even more fun in the rain!
Rain coat optional ☔😎
You see, the dirt roads in the jungle will form puddles and you can either cautiously drive around them …or rush full speed through them… 💦🏎
Families can have ATV fun too! Our tours are actually a great family activity in Playa del Carmen.
You need to be at least 16 years old to ride your own ATV. Small kids are able to ride as passengers on an ATV. This makes the quad excursion a great family activity in Playa del Carmen. As long as your kids are able to hold on firmly to the ATV and/or driver without any help they can ride as a passenger without a Problem.
Depending on how tall the kid is, they can go in front of the driver or at the back. This is to make sure the driver’s view of the road is not obstructed. Since our ATV tours are all private tours we are able to adapt to your pace. We always make sure everyone in your group has fun and enjoys the ride…
Your little ones will love the ride through the jungle and to explore the cenote and cave! This is such a unique and beautiful experience that your children will be talking about long after your vacation!
Keep in mind that safety is key for our quad excursions, which is why we only leave in private tours. It’ll be just you, our guide and nature along the way. We adapt the pace of your tour individually and you’ll drive as slow or fast as you feel comfortable with.
We also have all the gear for kids as well. From helmets, bandanas to life vests for the cenote, everything is taken care of!
